Our 4th vintage of our wildly popular Pinot Meunier!  This variety is rarely found as a still wine, and often abused when it is. It’s a delicate wine that doesn't respond well to heavy oak, thus perfectly suited for our light hand.

Light bodied, yet subly layered and complex.

The goat logo pays tribute to finding this vineyard when getting our two goats.  225 cases made.

A unique wine from an obscure grey skinned grape, originally from the Jura.  The grapes are the only planting in CA, from a 40 year old vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Fermented with native yeast on the skins for five days to extract color, flavor and texture, then aged in neutral barrels for 8 months.  Similar to the 2017 thru 2019 releases, this vintage is destemmed, allowing a fresh and vibrant expression.

The 2020 vintage produced half its normal yield due to frost and rain shatter, so grab some while you can. The 2020 vintage is also more intense in flavor as a result of the low yield. Only 125 cases made.

“Centime” harkens back to France's copper penny, and celebrates our full skin-contact series (aka orange wine). The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for 10 days, then aged in neutral oak 10 months. This is a non traditional orange wine, and at 11.3% alc, is light and fresh, while still textural. If you've always been curious about orange wines, but not a fan of oxidized wines, this is a great introduction to the style! 70 cases made.

In 2020, we were offered the rare opportunity for additional grapes from this 135 year-old Bechthold Vineyard. We jumped at the chance and made this small unique lot of Blanc de Cinsault.

This 135 year old vine Cinsault is the oldest surviving Cinsault vineyard in the world. It is a story of survival. This vineyard survived phylloxera (it is own rooted in sandy soil) and droughts (it is a drought tolerant grape). Enjoy this unique white wine from a very special place.

This special 175 case lot from the famed 135 year old Bechthold Vineyard in Lodi, is the oldest surviving Cinsault Vineyard in the world. This dry farmed, organic vineyard has very low yield, and produces a very complex expression of this variety, normally considered a blending grape.

The 2020 vintage is one of the most delicate, ethereal. Aromatics so alluring you will literally just leave your nose in the glass. Light bodied, drink with a slight chill, sit back and...chill. (For those who remember the 2017 vintage, this is in a similar vein.)

100% whole cluster, foot tread, fermented with native yeast in small 3/4 ton bins. Gently pressed to neutral barrel to age on heavy lees for 8 months, then bottled.  A thought provoking wine Eric Asimov of the NY Times called an example of “delightful, delicious wine from under-appreciated grapes."

We are honored to offer you this special wine, in tribute to Saralee Kunde, who left us in 2014. Saralee was an unparalleled leader and heroine in Sonoma County agriculture, and a personal inspiration. Catie's Corner is named for her daughter.  This vineyard was the first planting in the Russian  River, made possible by Saralee's commitment to varietal diversity.

The Grenache blanc always undergoes 3+ years of bottling aging, until its complex aromatics, salinity and minerality come fully together like a symphony.

Our 6th release of Vermentino (also known as Rolle in Southern France.) This 7 barrel, 175 case lot was fermented and aged in 50% stainless steel, and 50% neutral barrel for 6 months. Fresh and gulpable, mouthwatering acidity, and weighty texture that belies its low 11.5% alcohol. Organically farmed, no additions save a small amount of sulfur.

Our 2019 vintage was featured in April 2020 in the San Francisco Chronicle by Esther Mobley and in September 2020 by Michelle Williams in Forbes as one of the "Six Reasons To Fall In Love With Vermentino".

An offshoot of Pastoral Blanc, the 2017 is 2/3 Roussanne, 1/3 Marsanne, without the Viognier or Grenache Blanc. This is also the final vintage of these varietals from Saralee's Vineyard.

We invested in the 3 years of cellar aging to allow this wine to shine, and show the texture and complexity, that Roussanne is capable of with patience.

We are delighted for our premier offer of a small Syrah vineyard in Glen Ellen area of Sonoma Valley. This 1/2 acre is hand and organically farmed by the Knight family, and hand picked by us!

The valley the vineyard is situated and sees considerable fog, ripens slowly in the cool climate,  creating a classic Northern Rhone style Syrah, perhaps one of our best yet. The color is a pretty, bright garnet, with classic Northern Rhone notes of dried herbs, thyme, cured meat,  black olive. Pair with grilled lamb, duck and other game poultry, grilled eggplant.

We loved this special little vineyard, and were heartbroken to learn that it did not survive the 2020 Glass fire.

Only 2 barrels, 50 cases crafted.
