Finally ready for release after 5 years in bottle, gracefully resting!

From the esteemed Saralee's Vineyard, Russian River planting, this small less than 1 acre planting of Roussanne is the only one in the entire AVA. (Compared to over 7,000 acres of Chardonnay.) The cool climate is more akin to the Northern Rhone, and creates a more bright expression of Roussanne, while keeping its richer texture.

Aromas of brioche, apricot, hint of lemon curd and marzipan.  Layered flavors of white peach, golden raisin,  meyer lemon, and sea salt, wet stone, in a lingering finish.

This wine sings with food - pair with triple crème cheeses, crab or scallops, Sunday Roast chicken.

Only one barrel, 25 cases made. 11.3% alc.
