Two Shepherds latest release of our restrained style, cool climate Viognier. In 2014 we changed vineyards from Saralee's Vineyard to Catie's Corner. Catie's Corner is named after Saralee's daughter, and is also in the Russian River Valley, the same vineyard we farm our local Grenache Blanc.

Fragrant aromatics of jasmine and white peach, without being over powering as so many California viogner can be. Nice acidity and finish, will pair well with mild curries, shellfish, cream sauces.

Our 'atypical' viognier' is always a big hit with our customers and sells out immediately, so for 2014 we doubled production, to a (whopping) 75 cases.

Almost sold out! Remaining amount will soon be allocated to Flock Wine Club only.

The 2010 Syrah|Mourvedre was a small production hit. (If you still have some its drinking wonderfully.)

The 2011 is brighter and leaner (hard to imagine!) and has been undergoing extra bottling aging for the Mourvedre to reveal the signature complex salinity that made the 2010 so popular, and is finally ready.

The Syrah was again from Saralee’s Vineyard in Russian River Valley, and the Mourvedre from famed Rhone grower Ron Mansfield, in El Dorado.

Two Shepherds only non-Rhone wine, from an obscure grey skinned grape from the Jura. These 40 year old vines are across the street from our farm. This is the only vintage made as a white. Unctuous aromas, wet stone, complex texture, vibrant finish. Only 35 cases made.
