A very special offer of 6 vintages of library releases, a stunning array of one of the rarest varietals on the planet. All were tasted prior to ensure they have aged well and meet our high standards. Enjoy the 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018 releases. Add the current 2021 to round out your selection.
All vintages are 5 days skin contact except for the 2013 which is a blanc. The 2013 was indeed perhaps our favorite with an oily, unctuous texture that blew us away. (Featured in Bon Appétit: The 6 White Wines You'll Be Sneaking to the Park This Spring)
All of these wines are ONLY available via this bundle. ONLY 12 bundles available.
We are pleased to introduce our first, 1 barrel lot (25 cases) of Grenache Gris from our Estate Farm, the Daenen Block. Grenache Gris is the rare grey skinned relative of Grenache. Our vineyard is 100% hand farmed by us with no tractors or tilling, planted in a rare, dense 3 feet x 3 feet spacing. Our 3rd grey skin variety, fermented on the skins for 5 days for a lighter style orange wine, savory and approachable. The Grenache Gris has a bit more structure and soft tannins the the Trousseau Gris, and a darker orange color.
A unique wine from an obscure grey skinned grape, originally from the Jura. The grapes are the only planting in CA, from a 40 year old vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Fermented with native yeast on the skins for five days to extract color, flavor and texture, then aged in neutral barrels for 8 months. Similar to the 2017 thru 2020 releases, this vintage is destemmed, allowing a fresh and vibrant expression.
Rosé returns after a hiatus, with our first ever rosé of Mourvedre, a wine we enjoy greatly when done well, but had not yet tried our hand at it. Suffice to say we are in love, and plan to repeat.
Fermented with native yeast, aged 75% stainless steel, 25% neutral barrel. A fresh, vibrant wine that can be enjoyed all year long, its a fresh mouthwatering treat now, and will reward cellaring through the year as well. 10.7% alc, 200 cases crafted.
Who says orange wines have to be tannic and/or oxidized? This is a gentler, more approachable orange wine.
Centime, France's original penny, is Two Shepherds' small annual production of skin fermented Rhone white wines, known as orange wine, because of the color the skin contact gives. The 2016 release is 100% Grenache Blanc from Santa Ynez, our final release from this AVA. 60 cases crafted

Centime, France's original penny, is Two Shepherds' small annual production of skin fermented Rhone white wines, known as orange wine, because of the color the skin contact gives. The 2017 release is 100% Grenache Blanc from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma. This is our final release of Centime as Grenache Blanc, with the switch to Vermentino for 2018 onwards.
“Centime”, France's original copper penny, is the name of our full skin contact series. This vintage marks our first Vermentino orange wine. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for 10 days, aged in neutral oak 10 months. This is a non traditional orange wine, at 10.3% alc, light and fresh, textural. A great introduction to the orange wine movement.. 50 cases made.
“Centime” harkens back to France's copper penny, and celebrates our full skin-contact series (aka orange wine). The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for 10 days, then aged in neutral oak 10 months. This is a non-traditional orange wine, and at 11.3% alc, is light and fresh, while still textural. If you've always been curious about orange wines, but not a fan of oxidized wines, this is a great introduction to the style! 70 cases made.
